Attractive Backwaters of Kerala !

  • Kerala lies between the Arabian Sea in the West and the Western Ghats (Sahyadris) in the East with an area of 38863 sq km. It is one of the five states in the linguistic-cultural area known as South India
  • Cochin or Kochi as it is now called, is the commercial capital of the Southern Indian State of Kerala, is sometimes referred to as the ‘Queen of the Arabian Sea’. Cochin proudly boasts a rich cultural heritage but is one of the most fast-paced and modern cities in India.
Itinerary

Day 1BANGALORE – COCHIN (1.05 HRS FLIGHT)

  • Assemble 2 hours prior flight at Bangalore Airport, and then proceed to Check in counter for the check in. Complete check in formalities and board your flight.
  • Depart Bangalore
  • Arrive Cochin airport
  • After collecting your baggage, meet your driver at arrival hall
  • Transfer to the hotel
  • After fresh n up, depart for the sightseeing of Cochin; Cochin is gifted the sobriquet of the ‘Queen of the Arabian Sea’. The coastal city of Kerala offers varied delights. Sights encompasses the historical Mattancherry Palace, the Paradesi Synagogue, the St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Ernakulam Shiva Temple and many more. At sunset, do not miss the mesmerizing view of the Chinese fishing nets.
  • In the evening, explore the local markets of Ernakulam.
  • Arrive back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay

Day 2COCHIN – ALLEPPEY

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Check-out and proceed to drive to Alleppey.
  • Arrive Alleppey and transfer to the jetty to board the luxury houseboat cruise at 12 Noon.
  • Welcome drink on check in, the houseboat travels towards SNDP Thodu, Punnamada Kayal, experiencing the emerald beauty of Kerala.
  • Lunch on board.
  • Post lunch, in the late afternoon, visit a nearby village. The other sights you explore is the Kuppapuram, Chitira Palli. The wonderful views of lush paddy fields from your houseboat is spectacular. Enjoy the charming ambiance.
  • In the evening, the houseboat gets anchored for night at any of the nearby village
  • Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Day 3ALLEPPEY – KUMARAKOM (35 KMS / 1 HR DRIVE)

  • Breakfast on board
  • The houseboat cruise starts at 7.30 AM after breakfast. You shall reach the jetty dock by 9.00 AM.
  • Meet the driver and drive to Kumarakom. Kumarakom is a lush pristine town nestled on the banks of Lake Vembanad. Some of the attractions of this place are its backwater cruises and exotic species of avifauna. The place has been blessed with peaceful environs.
  • Arrive Kumarakom and check in hotel.
  • Day free on your own, or you can visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary.
  • Dinner and overnight stay

Day 4KUMARAKOM – COCHIN (75 KMS / 2 HRS DRIVE) – BANGALORE (1.05 HRS FLIGHT)

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Check out hotel and drive to Cochin Airport to board the flight back home
  • Meals: Breakfast
