Itinerary

Day 1ARRIVE CHANDIGARH & TRANSFER TO SHIMLA (130 KMS / 4.5 HRS DRIVE)

  • Arrive Chandigarh airport
  • After collecting your baggage, meet your drive at arrival hall
  • Drive to Shimla
  • Arrive Shimla in the evening and check in hotel
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Shimla

Day 2AT SHIMLA

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Depart for and Excursion to Kufri. Kufri is famous for its Himalayan National Park, Poney and Yak Ride and One can see the endless Himalayan Panorama from Kufri,
  • In the afternoon, have the sightseeing in and around Shimla to cover Shimla – mosque built in (1830), Vice regal Lodge built in (1885), Christ Church built in (1844), The Gaiety Theatre- the first beauty contest of world was supposed to start (1887), The Grindlays Bank (1912)- the world – wide bank started by Robert Melville Grindlay, The Scandal Point and the famous Shopping Plaza of the North – The Mall.
  • Arrive back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Shimla.

Day 3SHIMLA – MANALI (265 KMS / 8 HRS)

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • After breakfast, check out and drive to Manali
  • On the way visit Sunder Nagar, Pandoh Dam, Hanogi Mata Temple, Kullu Valley
  • Arrive Manali in the evening and check in hotel
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Manali

Day 4AT MANALI

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • After breakfast, depart for sightseeing of places in and around Manali, Like Hadimba temple, Manu temple, Vashisht Bath, Van Vihar
  • Spend your evening at The Mall Road for some evening shopping at the local market.

Day 5AT MANALI

  • After breakfast, depart for excursion to Solang Valley / Atal Tunnel / Rohtang Pass
  • Return back to Manali

Day 6AT MANALI – CHANDIGARH (320 KMS / 8 HRS)

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Check out and drive to Chandigarh. Chandigarh is the 1st planned modern city of India designed by the French architect Le Corbusier. The city was named after the mother goddess of power, Chandi, whose temple Chandimandu is a feature of the new city.
  • Arrive Chandigarh in the evening and have the small sightseeing to cover Rock Garden and Sukhna Lake.
  • Check in hotel for dinner and overnight stay

Day 7CHANDIGARH – AMRITSAR (260 KMS / 5 HRS)

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Check out and drive to Amritsar
  • Arrive Amritsar and check in hotel
  • After fresh n up, transfer to the Wagah Border to witness the Beating Retreat of Indian Army
  • Arrive back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Amritsar

Day 8AT AMRITSAR

  • Depart to visit Golden Temple of Amritsar
  • In the afternoon visit Jalianwala Bagh
