One of the most stunning hill resorts, Shimla is one of the most popular hill stations in northern India. Situated at an altitude of 2,205 meters, it used to be the summer capital of British India with a well-planned architecture. This capital city of Himachal Pradesh is famous for The Mall, ridge, and toy train. Shimla or Simla is the capital of the state of Himachal Pradesh in India. It is also a famous holiday spot for honeymoon. 

Itinerary

Day 1BANGALORE – DELHI - SHIMLA (410 KMS / 9 HRS DRIVE)

  • Assemble 2 hours prior flight at Bangalore Airport, and then proceed to Check in counter for the check in. Complete check in formalities and board your flight.
  • Depart Bangalore
  • Arrive Delhi airport
  • After collecting your baggage, meet your drive at arrival hall
  • Drive to Shimla
  • Arrive Shimla in the evening and check in hotel
  • Dinner and overnight stay

Day 2AT SHIMLA (EXCURSION TO KUFRI & CHAIL)

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Depart for an Excursion to Kufri. Kufri is famous for its Himalayan National Park, Poney and Yak Ride and One can see the endless Himalayan Panorama from Kufri.
  • Further driving from Kufri to Chail is exciting drive and later visit to The Highest cricket ground.
  • Arrive back to Shimla in the evening and spend some time at The Mall Road
  • Arrive back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3AT SHIMLA

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • After breakfast, depart for the sightseeing of various places in and around Shimla to cover Shimla Mosque built in 1830, Vice Regal Lodge, Christ Church built in 1844, The Gaiety Theatre, The Scandal Point, Kaali Baari Temple.
  • Spend your evening at The Mall Road
  • Dinner and overnight stay

Day 4SHIMLA – DELHI (375 KMS / 8 HRS)

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Check out and drive to Delhi
  • Arrive Delhi in the evening and check in hotel
  • Dinner and overnight stay

Day 5AT DELHI

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Depart for the sight – seeing to cover Rajghat, India Gate, Parliament House, Rashtarpati Bhawan, (Drive Through only) Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar etc.
  • Spend your evening at Chandni Chowk.
  • Arrive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay

Day 6DEPART DELHI

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Check out and transfer to the airport to board the flight back home.
